Attire

Formal (no white dresses/blazers)  

We recommend avoiding stiletto heels and bringing a coat.   
We will be outside / on grass for some parts of the event, weather permitting.   

What to Expect 

---

1–1.5 hr ceremony + a forest garden party  

After much reflection, we have decided the ceremony is the “main event” of our wedding!   
Therefore rather than a long night-time reception, we would love to celebrate with you throughout the afternoon with a shorter garden party.   

symbolism + speeches  

We hope our ceremony will blend tradition with modern art to symbolically communicate the signficance of marriage.   
And, as another way of making the ceremony our focus, we may even have all speeches in this part of the afternoon.   

food + drink  

Lunch will be a high tea with both savoury and sweet options.   
There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available (if you need a taxi/Uber to get home, book in advance!)   

dancing?  

There will not be an official “dance floor”, nor will there be any dance performances.   
 However, we love to break out into dance randomly (in the car, at home, etc.) so we probably will at the wedding! Please join us if you’re up for it.   

kids?  

 If you have babies / toddlers who you can look after the entire time, you are welcome to bring them.   
If you need access to a space for breastfeeding, please let us know in the RSVP form.   

Registry

  For those that are able to and would like to contribute a gift, there isn’t much more stuff we need.   
However, there’s a few things we would appreciate for our future home together!   
We’ve created a registry listing those few things.   
There will also be a wishing well for cards on the day.   

Practicals aside, don’t feel obligated to bring anything, we will love having you there regardless :D
